From the Webmaster

This website owes a great debt of gratitude to its previous webmasters. Paul B. courageously started the reorganization of RhodeIsland-AA.org. His hard work moved us from our beginning to a place where we could launch this revised website. Thank you Paul.

Tom G. served for over 10 years, keeping all of the parties interested in a Rhode Island AA web presence working together. The notion of herding cats comes to mind. The many, countless and frustrating hours he spent during this decade piecing together the bits and bytes into a website will never be counted but at least we can extend a salute from grateful hearts to a wonderful, sober gentleman – a true role model.

The Website committee has given me a clear directive. The constituents of this website are members of all of the organizations making up AA in the Rhode Island area. Historically, these organizations have sometimes not worked together as well as they might. It is our hope that our cooperation in this effort will lead us in the pursuit of our common purpose as we move forward and that all will find it possible to join in this move toward unity.

WWW.RhodeIsland-AA.org is an equal opportunity resource for all members and groups in the Rhode Island area. There are style sheets and technical standards for all the documents on our website. These are necessary in order to provide an integrated and consistent appearance. It is important to note we do not publish material violating AA principles or traditions. Otherwise, all content is published without being censored.

Your opinions and assistance are sought. We have an outstanding group of very capable volunteer developers. Should you need to you can use this resource to help on your web site projects.

Have a great sober day.
