Alcoholics Anonymous in Rhode Island (Area 61)

Treatment Committee

Position Trusted Servant Contact
Chair: Hebert G. Area61Treatment@RhodeIsland-AA.org
Alternate Chair: open

The Treatment Committee sees that AA's message is carried to those in hospitals, half way houses and nursing facilities, many of whom have problems with alcohol and are seeking help from us. Committee members are the interface between AA and these institutions – Even if you are not a member of this committee you can go on the Treatment Committee's commitments. Committee members collect conference approved literature donated by individuals and groups for use by the residence which is another way members assist recovery.

How to become a member of the Treatment Committee
Contacting the Chair or the Alternate Chair usually gets the ball rolling but appearing at the next committee meeting (above) provides an excellent opportunity to refine your interest.
