● This is the summer break -- the next regular meeting for Rhode Island Central Service Delegates is on Wednesday, September 19th at Hope Congregational Church, 120 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside (East Providence) RI 02915 – New Delegates at 7:15 PM, Regular Meeting at 7:30 PM.

● The times and dates for all Rhode Island area service committees (Area 61, Rhode Island Central Service and Southern Rhode Island Intergroup) are posted on our website at Organizations (Service) – www.rhodeisland-aa.org/organizations/service.htm. Please use this page as your service directory.

● Rhode Island Central Service, 410 North Broadway, East Providence 02914 needs volunteers to help with the monthly mailings. It takes less than one hour.
The July mailing takes place on Tuesday, July 24th at 11:30 AM.
The August mailing takes place on Tuesday, August 21st at 11:30 AM.

● Rhode Island Central Service hosts a "Bass / Striper Fishing Trip" aboard the Seven G's out of the Port of Galilee, Saturday August 4th, $75 per person – includes rod, reel, bait, refreshment – Space limited to 25 people – Tickets available at Rhode Island Central Service (401) 438-8860.

● Saturday, July 21st has been selected for an "A.A. Day at the Beach". Show up for fun and fellowship B.Y.O. everything (no grilling allowed) – East end of East Matunuck State Beach – 9:00 AM to ????

Special Notices

● The next meeting for Southern Rhode Island Intergroup Representatives is on Thursday, August 2nd – Craik Building, 2845 Post Road, Warwick 02886 at 7:00 PM.

● A Bookie's Meeting is scheduled for the first Saturday of every month held at Southern Rhode Island Intergroup Craik Building, 2845 Post Road, Warwick 02886, at 10:00 AM. The August Bookie's Meeting will take place on August 4th.

Southern Rhode Island Intergroup is in the process of up-dating their 12 Step & Rides list. Anyone interested in getting involved in this vital 12 step work please contact Terri at Intergroup (401 739–8777).

District 1 will not hold a monthly meeting in August, The next regular scheduled meeting for District 1 will be held Tuesday September 11, Rectory Hall, Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 1409 Park Avenue, Woonsocket RI 02895 at 7:00 PM.

District 5 will host a Pizza Party at the United Congregational Church, 524 Valley Road (Near Green End Avenue), Middletown RI 02842 Tuesday, August 28th at 5:00 PM.

The Garden City group in Cranston will host a District 3 Joy of Service meeting, Woodridge Congregational Church, 546 Budlong Road (opposite Garden City), Cranston RI 02920 – Monday, August 20th at 7:30 PM. Guest Speaker, food and fellowship – Everyone Welcome – Come learn about Service.

The Saint James group in Woonsocket will host a Summer Sober Dance Saturday, September 1st, Senior Citizen's Center, 84 Social Street, Woonsocket RI 02895 from 7:00 PM to Midnight. Admission is Free / Food donations welcomed – come enjoy food, dancing, raffle and fellowship Voluntary contribution will be accepted at the door – For more information, please contact Central Service (401 438–8860).

Southern Rhode Island Intergroup will host a bus trip to A.A. General Service Office in New York Friday, September 28th – Tickets $30 – Departs at 5:30 AM / Returns at 8 PM Pick-up spots in both Warwick and Richmond – includes tour of GSO, A.A. meeting and free time in the city. Purchase tickets by contacting Southern Rhode Island Intergroup (401 739–8777).

The 13th Annual NECYPAA Convention will be held at the Sheraton Tara Hotel in Nashua, NH. Thursday, December 27th through Sunday December 30th Registration is only $10 – for more information please contact Central Service (401 438–8860).
