● Rhode Island Central Service, 410 North Broadway, East Providence 02914 needs volunteers to help with the monthly mailings. It takes less than one hour.
The August mailing takes place on Tuesday, August 21st at 11:30 AM.
The September mailing takes place on Tuesday, September 25st at 11:30 AM.

● Saturday, August 18th has been selected for an "A.A. Day at the Beach". Show up for fun and fellowship B.Y.O. everything (no grilling allowed) – East end of East Matunuck State Beach – 9:00 AM to ????

● The Courage to Change group in Newport will host a “Summer Picnic” Saturday September 15th Brenton Point State Park (near the Portuguese Sailor memorial), Ocean Avenue, Newport – 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
