● The next regular meeting for Rhode Island Central Service Delegates is on Wednesday, February 20th at Hope Congregational Church, 120 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside (East Providence) RI 02915 – New Delegates at 7:15 PM, Regular Meeting at 7:30 PM.

All delegates in attendance will receive A.A. literature to bring back to their group.

● The times and dates for all Rhode Island area service committees (Area 61, Rhode Island Central Service and Southern Rhode Island Intergroup) are posted on our website at Organizations (Service) – www.rhodeisland-aa.org/organizations/service.htm. Please use this page as your service directory.

● Rhode Island Central Service, 410 North Broadway, East Providence 02914 needs volunteers to help with the monthly mailings. It takes less than one hour.
The January mailing takes place on Tuesday, January 22nd at 11:30 AM.
The February mailing takes place on Tuesday, February 26th at 11:30 AM.

● Central Service's Social Committee is looking for fresh ideas for Social Events in the up-coming year. Please relay any thoughts on this to your group’s Central Service Delegate to bring back to our February Delegate's meeting.

● Notice to all Groups. If the the Post Office's bulk mailing delivery is slow, the most recent issue of the today is usually available on our website by the first of each month.

● Notice to all Groups. All today announcements, group information changes, or changes to the meeting schedule need to be CALLED IN to the Central Service Office by a group representative. This is the ONLY way to make these changes. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Fall River, MA – AM Eye Openers Bristol Community College (Learning Resource Center, Room 1A), 777 Elsbree Street, Fall River MA 02720 – Open Discussion, Monday through Friday at 7:50 AM will now include all holidays.

Warwick – Spring Green Woodbury Church, 58 Beach Avenue (Near West Shore Road), Warwick RI 02889 – Open, Friday now at 8:00 PM will change meeting time to 7:30 PM effective Friday March 7th, 2008.

● The next meeting for Southern Rhode Island Intergroup Representatives is on Thursday, February 7th – Craik Building, 2845 Post Road, Warwick 02886 at 7:00 PM.

● A Bookie's Meeting is scheduled for the first Saturday of every month held at Southern Rhode Island Intergroup Craik Building, 2845 Post Road, Warwick 02886, at 10:00 AM. The February's Bookie's Meeting will take place on February 2nd.

● The Southeastern Gay & Lesbian Round-Up Committee will host a "Kick- Off Dance" at Park Place Congregational Church, 71 Park Place, Pawtucket RI 02860 on Saturday, January 26th, 2008 – 8:00 PM to Midnight Meeting – Dance – Food – Fellowship – Raffles- $5 Donation at the door. ● The 32nd Annual Rhode Island AA Convention will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Newport on March 28th, 29th, & 30th – Registration forms are available from your Group Secretary, GSR, Southern Rhode Island Intergroup or the Central Service Office – Your Hotel Registration is not your Convention Registration – No Admission to any event without a registration badge – The convention is sold out.
